Our company
waveChinese was founded in 2015. We are a startup based in Xi'an, China. We offer online one-on-one Mandarin courses and provide free consulting assistance to students while they are in China. We are a team of passionate Mandarin teachers who are willing to make a truly unique contribution to our students and the industry. Our logo is a pictogram. From this Chinese character, you can see that in the sky above a high roof, there are two big hands, which are sending the mysteries of the world into the house, and in the house is a person. The two Xs represent Yin and Yang, which are the mysteries of the world. Just like this logo, we are carefully conveying the civilization in the oriental text to the world.

I love words, whether it’s Chinese or English. When you have such a job and have done it for many years, there is no doubt that this job is fulfilling and enjoyable. Work is joyful. I hope my Chinese teaching experience can help you go faster and further on your mandarin learning journey. Nature and reading are my favorites. If I can sit in the mountains, listen to the breeze and read a book quietly, it will be the most beautiful moment in the world. Beautiful reading is like giving you the wings of dreams, bouncing and running, traveling through the past and present, and walking through the glimmering corners of the human spiritual world with the pace of exploration.

The world is rich and colorful, and teaching Chinese allows me to gradually connect with the world. I am grateful to every student who “brings” my eyes to experience the world. I have enjoyed fourteen years of teaching Chinese and love every one of my students. I am grateful that I can maintain my original intention, maintain a high degree of enthusiasm for teaching, and communicate with students in a sincere and friendly manner. We discuss study plans together, complete learning goals together, witness life changes together, experience joys and sorrows together, and are both teachers and friends, walking on the mandarin journey “hand in hand”. In the days to come, I will still be proud of being a teacher and proud of helping every student I meet.

2013年，我对外汉语专业本科毕业，开始从事线上对外汉语教学工作；2023年，我语言学硕士研究生毕业，开始在大学教授语言学课程。我喜欢语言学和教授汉语，尤其喜欢与孩子们上课。每一个孩子都是天使，与他们在一起令我感觉非常幸福。我热衷于为孩子们设计各种各样的课堂游戏，确保他们能有一个愉快的中文学习旅程。
In 2013, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in “Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language” and started teaching Chinese online. In 2023, I graduated with a master's degree in linguistics and started teaching linguistics courses at the university. I love linguistics and teaching Chinese, especially taking classes with children. Every child is an angel, and I feel very happy to be with them. I am passionate about designing a variety of class games for children to ensure they have an enjoyable Chinese learning journey.
